ABOUT US

Citizens Fidelity Insurance

In trying to accomplish our basic mission, help Arkansas citizens prepare for the costs associated with death, we have overcome many obstacles:

  • The flawed concept of the original burial association of the Depression era and their statutory limit, which failed to keep pace with the rising cost of funerals;
  • The tax decision of the sixties, which significantly reduced the capital and surplus of Drummond Citizens and challenged its survival;
  • The extraordinarily high inflation of the seventies, which resulted in the acceptance of trust-funded pre-paid funeral, and relegated Drummond Citizens to those burial insurance prospects that were unable to trust-fund their funeral within five years;
  • Affectively started from scratch in the eighties, Citizens Fidelity was established with minimal capital and reinsured Drummond Citizens;
  • The struggle of Citizens Fidelity in the nineties to develop a life insurance division and source of business that was independent of Roller Funeral Homes remains.

With the more significant obstacles conquered, we now stand on the threshold of greatness with only our own abilities and imaginings limiting our success.
